In-Floor Thermal Storage floor heating cables and mats are the basis of an efficient indoor floor heating system. Designed for comfort and convenience, the heating cables and mats reliably distributes consistent, even heat across the surface area, providing you with long term, maintenance-free operation.
The heating system is easy to install and can be custom sized to fit into any size or shape of room. The cable is required to be embedded in at least 4” of concrete or mortar. The preferred method of installation for both cable and mat is 4” – 8” below the slab in a bed of sand. This method allows the most even distribution of heat on the finished floor.
